Bio1: SWANSON, OSCAR JULIUS-Son of Emil Swanson, enlisted May 24, 1917 in the Submarine Force of the Navy. He was sent to a Seaman Gunners' School. Was on board U. S. S. F-2, F-3, O-16. Was Chief Gunners' Mate. Was honorably discharged July 18, 1919.
