Bio1: Son of Mr. and Mrs. Foster Eckenroad, enlisted in Oct. 1917 in the United States Navy. Was sent to Norfolk, then New York, was on board the U. S. S. Wabash, made seven trips overseas and was honorably discharged April 21, 1919.
