Bio1: Son of Mrs. Anna Melinger. entered service June 1, 1918, was sent to Fort Oglethorpe and was placed with Company A, 60th Infantry, 5th Division. He sailed in July 1918, returned July 26, 1919 and was honorably discharged later that month.
