Police Matters.
Robert Law, a Sergeant in the 23d Cavalry, was arrest-
ed for stealing a box of matches. He was fined $10.
James Harman was fined $10 or sixty days for disorder-
ly conduct.
George Wegman, a boy, was arrested for stealing $6.00
Sent to the House of Rufuge.
Bridget Joice, a standing drunk, was sent up three
months.
John Livingston and William Chandler, disorderlies,
were discharged.
John Farrell was fined $6 and one hundred days for
stealing a coat.
James Connell was fined $10 or three months for being
drunk.
