REESE - Arthur Earl, 93. 207 Ottawa St., formerly of 240 Lincoln St., died Nov. 3. 1975. at home. Born Dec. 23. 1881. in Johnstown, son of John G. and Elizabeth (Barnes) Reese. Preceded in death by parents; wife, former Margaret Wilhelm, who died in 1937; son, Philip; five brothers and two sisters. Survived by sister, Mrs. Edythe R. Taylor. 207 Ottawa St.; and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Philip A. Reese. 843 Carnegie Ave.; also one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Was retired molder at Johnstown Works. U.S. Steel Corp. Member of First United Methodist Church. Life member of Johnstown Lodge 538, F. & A.M.; Portage Royal Arch Chapter 195; Cambria Council No. 32; and Oriental Commandery, Knights Templar No. 61. Was 50-year member of Jaffa Shrine. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m . Wednesday at The Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, where service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. J. Paul Ciampa. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
