Benjamin Markley.-It is with regret of no ordinary kind, we record
the death of our worthy and esteemed friend, Capt. Benjamin Markley,
a native of Montgomery county, who departed this sublunary sphere on
10th. July, at his residence in New Hanover township. He marched forth
a captain of a company in the War of the Revolution. He served as a
member of the Executive Council of the State, office of Justice of the
Peace and associate judge of this county.
