Daniel Webster Reese, 63, died at his home in Jackson Township Saturday, October 9, 1948. He was born February 10, 1885 in Cambria Township, a son of Jonathan and Anna Jane (Powell) Reese. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mabel (Makin) Reese and the  following brothers: David, Johnstown; Butler, Miami, Fla.; Charles, Colver and George, Jackson Township. Funeral services under the direction of the Askew Funeral Home were held at the Ebensburg Baptist Church on Monday October 11, 1948 at 2 p.m. and were in charge of Rev. W.J. Shope. Interment was at Lloyd Cemetery.
