Floyd W. Reese Sr.

Floyd W. Reese Sr. of Bracken Street, Johnstown (Mundys Corner), died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He was 39.

Born June 2, 1960, in Bellaire, Ohio, he was a son of Paul C. Sr. and Sara E. (Taylor) Reese.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife, the former Jo Ann Bandrowsky, to whom he was married 18 years; and son, Floyd Jr., at home.

He was a brother of Pauline E., Ebensburg; Paul C. Jr. and Larry E., both of Mineral Point; Clarence O., Vintondale; and Patricia, wife of Kenneth Jenkins Jr., Nanty Glo.

Also surviving are his mother and father-in-law, Tom and Ruth Bandrowsky, Mylo Park. Ebensburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann. wife of Tom Kazimer; and Betty Ann, wife of Theodore Fulton, all of Colver, Deb Bandrowsky, Lilly; and Tom Kazimer, married to the former Jeannie LaMantia, Muncy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Reese was a graduate of Central Cambria High School, Ebensburg and had attended St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner. He loved tinkering with classic cars, remodeling, and family visits to the Bandrowsky Farm.

Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, May 20 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church by the Rev. Paul Robine. Committal followed in Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. Arrangements were in charge of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo.
