Ebensburg Native Dies Nov. 16 In Lorain, Ohio
Funeral services for the late George Reese, 87, who passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, in a Lorain, Ohio, Rest Home, were held last Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church in that city, with interment following in the church cemetery.
He was born at Winterset, near Ebensburg, on Aug. 13, 1870, a son of Obadiah, and Margaret (Evans) Reese.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evangeline Grant, Reno, Nevada; a sister, Miss Elizabeth Reese of Ebensburg; two granddaughters, and two great-grandsons. he was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Evangeline Stoltz; a sister, Mary Jane ,and two brothers, Sherman and Jonathan.
