Guilty Of Manslaughter
Elmira, Nov. 17. – The jury in the
case of Henry Ward, of Towanda, Pa.,
charged with killing Wesley E. Shader,
of New York, rendered a verdict this
evening of not guilty of murder, but
guilty of manslaughter. The trial was
held at Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania,
having been removed to Wyoming
county by act of Legislature of Penn-
Sylvania. Ward is a son of the late
Hon. C. L. Ward of Towanda, Penn-
sylvania
