Jacob Erb.-Another Revolutionary soldier gone. Departed this life in
New Hanover township, Montgomery county on the 5th inst., Mr. Jacob
Erb, in the 81st year of his life. The deceased was one of those who
in days of peril stood forth in defence of the liberties of his country.
His earthly remains were escorted to the tomb by the Third Troop of
Montgomery county cavalry, a testimonial of regard eminently due to the
patriots of the Revolution.
