[The following obituary notices of officers and privates who
served in the Continental Line and Militia of Pennsylvania during
the Revolution have been collected from the newspapers of Montgomery
county.]
Jacob Shade.-Departed this life on the 23d. ult. at his residence in
Limerick township, in the 76th. year of his age. The deceased was a
Soldier of the Revolution, having entered the army in the service of
his country at a very early age.
