MRS. JANE A REESE CALLED BY DEATH
Mrs. Jane A. (Evans) Reese, 89, widow of the late David T. Reese, died in her home in Cambria Township, near here at 6:30 o'clock Tuesday evening (June 25, 1946). She had been in failing healthe for the past 3 years and became bedfast 10 days ago. Born in Cambria Township February 22, 1857, she was a daughter of David T. And Ann (Jones) Evans.
Mrs. Reese was the last member of a family of 9 children.
Her family was among the first Welsh settlers in this locality. She and David T. Reese were married January 6, 1881. Mr. Reese died in 1941. The deceased resided in her farm home for the past 64 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert S. Lytle, Johnstown and 2 sons, Clark and Leroy, both at home. Two children preceded her in death. Services will be conducted in the late home at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon by Rev. Dr. John R. Thomas, pastor of the local First Congregational Church. Burial will be in Lloyd Cemetery under the firection of the Askew Funeral Home.
