served in the Continental Line and Militia of Pennsylvania during
the Revolution have been collected from the newspapers of Montgomery
county.]

John Harple.-Died on Thursday 21st June near the Trappe, John Harple,
one of the few surviving heroes of the Revolution, in the 80th year of
his age.
