John E Reese

John E. "Jack" Reese, 43, of Denver, Pa., died Friday, March 3, 1995, following a heart attack. He was born in Colver, a son of the late R. Glenn and Mildred Mareck Reese.

He is survived by his widow, the former Betty E. Woods Heckathorn; a son, "J.R." Reese II, at horne; two stepsons, Harry T. Heckathorn, Reinholds, and Todd E. Heckathorn, Reamstown. There are two step-grandchildren. He was a brother of Robert G., Canton, Ohio; Vivian Strollo, Spangler, and Carol J. Reese, Revloc.

Mr. Reese had been employed at Lukens Steel, Coatesville, and was a former employee of BethEnergy Mine 33, Ebensburg.


Locally, friends may call at Matevish & Matevish Funeral Horne, Ebensburg, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Jeff Custer officiating. Interment will follow at Lloyd Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Sound System Fund, Shillington Church of Christ, Box 66, Shillington, Pa. 19607.
