TWINS OBSERVE BIRTHDAYS

Three sets of Juniata Couples Quietly Celebrated Natal Days.

                During the past three days three Juniata families have been quietly celebrating the birthdays of twins. Two of the families live within a block of each other, while the third now lives a little farther way bot formerly also resided within a block of the other two families.
                Earl and Pearl Summers, children of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Summers, formerly residing on West Ninth avenue, but now living at 307 Twelfth avenue, Juniata, were the first pair to celebrates their birthdays, which occurred Sunday. Earl and Pearl are 13 years of age and the family have another set of twins Hazen and Hazel, who will be 11 years old next Feb. 19.
                The second birthday yesterday was that of Charlie M. Metzgar, who makes his home with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Hollar of 197 West Ninth avenue and his sister, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Statler of East End, the later residing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. Kunkle. Mr. Metzgar and Mrs. Statler were 80 years old yesterday.
                The third set of twins, Velma and Thelma Fink, are celebrating their seventh birthday today. They are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Fink of 108 West Tenth avenue. The Fink twins have a brother, who has been serving in France for more than a year as a member of the Nineteenth regiment of engineers.
