REESE, MABEL CLAIRE 83, Ebensburg died Sept 9, 1979 at the M & L Country Manor, Glen Campbell PA. Born June 16, 1896 in Belsano PA, daughter of George G. & M. Elizabeth (Rager) Empfield. Preceded in death by parents, first husband Charles Shields, four brothers and one sister. Survived by husband Stanley Reese, son William G. Shields married to the former Brenda Hurd; daughter Elizabeth Ann wife of Norman Bolinger, Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren, one step grandchild and four great great grandchildren. Sister Pansy wife of Miller Lehman, brothers Theodore R of Ebensburg and Lemmon E. of St Petersburg, FL. Member of the First United Presbyterian Church. Former school teacher in Blacklick twp area and Mylo Park. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at John W. Askew Funeral Home. Services 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning by Rev. Donald E. Shamble Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg PA.
