HURT IN SWIMMING DIVE.

Altoona Swimmer Strikes Head Against Stone In Water.

                M. J. V. Reilly of 2921 West Chestnut avenue, a fireman for the Pennsy, is confined to his home suffering from a deep laceration of the scalp and a possible depressed fracture of the skull following his striking against a stone in the Juniata river while diving Sunday.
Reilly accompanied a party of fifteen Altoona young ladies and young men to Upper Reese for Sunday and during the afternoon he dived from the bank of the stream. He landed close to shore and was hurled against a sharp stone, several feet under the water.

He was brought to Altoona yesterday and the injury treated by Dr. Olin K. McGarrah.
