ALBERT WILLIAM POPE, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

POPE, ALBERT WILLIAM-Son of Henry and Elizabeth Pope, entered service June 16, 1917. He was sent to Camp Lee, placed with the 324th Signal Corps, was given the rank of Corporal, was a few days out at sea when the armistice was signed and he was recalled. Was honorably discharged Jan. 25, 1919.
