ALPHEUS MITCHELL, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

MITCHELL, ALPHEUS-Son of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Mitchell, enlisted May 1917, was sent to Camp Hancock and placed with the 109th Field Hospital. He was transferred to Camp Mills, sailed May 1918, was in the Meuse-Argonne, 5 th German offensive, returned May 1919 and was honorably discharged that month.
