MELKERSON, ALVIN C.-Son of August and Emma Melkerson, entered service May 26, 1918, was sent to Camp Greenleaf and attached to Base Hospital No. 28. He sailed Aug. 23, 1918, was in the Meuse - Argonne offensive, returned Aug. 3, 1919 and was honorably discharged Aug. 6, 1919.
