FRYE, CHARLES EDWARD-Son of Charles and Laura Frye, enlisted May 26. 1917. Was sent to Camp Greenleaf and attached to Company F. 16th Engineers. Sailed in July 1917. Was in the Argonne, Verdun and other battles. Was slightly gassed. Returned May 14, 1919. Was honorably discharged ten days later.
