NEWHOUSE, CHARLES EDWARD -Son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Newhouse, enlisted in the Navy May 9, 1917. He was at the Great Lakes Naval Station, was 1st Class Seaman on the U. S . S. Carolina and was honorably discharged July 31, 1919.
