RUFFNER, CLARENCE MONROE -Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. C. Ruffner. Enlisted in the Marine Corps, July 5, 1917. Trained men in rifle shooting, was commissioned Captain July 1, 1918, and was transferred to Washington, D. C. Captain Ruffner was in Cuba for a short time, returned and was, Sept. 1, 1919, still in service.
