WELTY, DANIEL E.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Welty, enlisted July 1, 1917 in Y. M. C. A. work. He sailed overseas July 1, 1917. Was with a section of the British Army, stationed at Bombay. Returned to the United States July 22, 1919 and was honorably discharged a week later with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
