BYERS, JOHN A.-Son of Frank H. Byers, enlisted in June 1913 in the Navy. He was assigned to Annapolis and was placed on board the U. S. S. Minneapolis. He was appointed Lieutenant Commander and was Sept. 1, 1919 still in the service of the Unitea States Navy.
