JOHN W. STAUFFER, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

STAUFFER, JOHN W.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Stauffer, entered service with Company I, 110th Infantry, 28th Division and later transferred to Company A, 149th Machine Gun Battalion, 42nd Division. Sailed Oct. 17, 1917, was severely wounded at Chateau Thierry. Returned Jan. 25. 1919 and was honorably discharged April 7, 1919.
