SHAFFER, JOSEPH REED-Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Shaffer, 626 Green St., enlisted Aug. 14, 1918. He was sent to Fort Brownsville, Texas, was attached to Troop H, 16th Cavalry Sept. 1919, still in the service of the United States.
