DE YOUNG, JOSEPH S.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Young, 440 Westminster Ave. Enlisted in 1917, was sent to Camp Lee and attached to Company B, 50th Engineers, 5th Battalion. Sailed for France, returned Aug. 1919, and was honorably discharged later that month, as 2nd Lieutenant.
