L. W. HOFFMAN, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

HOFFMAN, L. W.-Son of John L. and Mary J. Hoffman, enlisted Aug. 15. 1917 with Company I. 110th Infantry 28th Division. Assigned to Camp Hancock. Sailed May 3. 1918. Was wounded July 29, 1918 in the second Battle of the Marne, and was in the hospital for six months. He returned in Feb. 1919 and was honorably discharged later that month.
