ERWIN, NEWTON E.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Erwin, enlisted 1917. Was sent to Fort Oglethorpe, was commissioned 1st Lieutenant in the Medical Corps, was transferred to Camp Greenleaf and was honorably discharged Jan. 1919.
