ROBERT DIXON HERBERT, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

HERBERT, ROBERT DIXON-Son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Herbert, entered service Sept. 21, 1917. Was assigned to Camp Lee. Was attached to Headquarters Company. 320th Infantry, 80th Division. Was transferred to Camp Hancock and entered the Air Service. Sailed overseas Feb. 10, 1918. Returned June 18. 1919 and was honorably discharged ten days later.
