THOMPSON, ROBERT NELSON- Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Thompson, enlisted in March 1917 in the Medical Corps. He was sent to Fort Oglethorpe then Camp Merritt. Sailed overseas in May 1918. Was gassed. Returned in April 1919. Was honorably discharged later that month.
