GOWER, SAMUEL F.-Son of William Gower, entered service Sept. 22, 1917. Was sent to Camp Lee and attached to Company A, 320th Infantry, 80th Division. Sailed for France in May 1918. Was wounded in the hand and hip by Machine Gun Fire. Returned Jan. 1919. Was honorably discharged Feb. 3, 1919 holding rank of Sergeant.
