AVIS, WALTER-Physical Director at Y. M. C. A. Entered service at New York City in Jan. 1918. Was sent to France. Was attached to the 2nd Division in France and in the Army of Occupation as a "Y" secretary. Had had previous military experience. With the British Army for 10 years in India. Was discharged on Jan. 10, 1919.
