STEINER, CLAUDE CLAIRE-Son of Henry F. and Sarah E. Steiner, entered service June 4, 1917, was sent to Camp Crane and was placed with the 553rd Sanitary Unit. 38th Division. Sailed Aug. 23, 1917, was given a Croix de Guerre, returned April 23, 1919 and was honorably discharged three days later.
