HAYES, JOHN A.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Hayes, enlisted Aug. 2, 1917 with Company D, 58th Regiment and was assigned to Gettysburg, Pa. Went overseas May 7, 1918, was wounded, returned March 29, 1919 and was honorably discharged April 11, 1919.
