JOHN CARL, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

CARL, JOHN-Son of Mrs. Hanna Carl, entered service in April 1917, was sent to Camp Lee and attached to the 313th Machine Gun Battalion. Sailed in May 1917, was gassed severely, returned in June 1919 and was honorably discharged later that month.
