SPROAT, THOMAS-Son of Robert and Margaret Sproat, entered service May 4, 1918, was sent to Newport and placed with Battery A. 42nd Coast Artillery Corps. Sailed Aug. 25, 1917, was made Corporal, had his shoulder fractured, returned Feb. 18, 1919 and was honorably discharged March 1, 1919.
