YAWNS, JOHN-Son of Mrs. Eva Yawns, entered service Aug. 25, 1917, was assigned to Camp Robison, later Dix and attached to Battery E, 17th Artillery, 2nd Division, went overseas Dec. 9, 1917, was wounded by shrapnel, returned May 27, 1919 and was honorably discharged June 11 1919.
