HERRING, CHARLES P.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Herring, enlisted May 15, 1917, Was assigned to Allentown and attached to Base Hospital No. 27, was later transferred to the Quartermaster Corps. Sailed in Sept. 1917, returned Aug. 13, 1919 and was honorably discharged Aug. 28, 1919 with the rank of 1st Lieut.
