HENDRIX, CHARLES S.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. William G. Hendrix, entered service June 12, 1917, assigned to Camp Stewart, Fort Benjamin Harrison and Camp Hancock, went overseas May 5, 1918, as Regimental Surgeon, 111th Regiment, 28th Division, served as a Captain, slightly gassed, returned April 30, 1919 and was honorably discharged June 4, 1919.
