SHAFFER, DAVIS-Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Shaffer, entered service in the Spring of 1917, was assigned to Camp Hancock and attached to Company D, 111th Infantry, 28th Division. Sailed May 12, 1918, held rank of Sergeant and was killed Oct. 26, 1918.
