RUMMEL, ARTHUR S.-Son of William J. Rummel. Entered service April 21, 1917, and was assigned to Camp Hancock and Camp Upton. Went overseas in April 1918, attached to Company E. 111th Infantry. Was wounded in the left leg by shrapnel at Yesle river, on Aug. 10, 1918. Returned in Nov. 1918, and honorably discharged on Jan. 12, 1919, at Camp Dix.
