JOHN ASON, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

ASON, JOHN-Son of Mr and Mrs. Thomas Ason, entered service in July 1917, was sent to Columbus Barracks and later to Camp Pike. Sailed in July 1918, was wounded in the left shoulder, returned in Dec. 1919 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant.
