McKOWEN, GEORGE-Son of Mr. and Mrs. James W. McKowen. Entered service July 13, 1917. Was assigned to Camp Greene and attached to Company B, 7th Machine Gun Battalion. Went overseas April 2, 1918, returned Aug. 28, 1919, and honorably discharged Sept. 2, 1919.
