WILLIAM BROWNFIELD, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

BROWNFIELD, WILLIAM-Son of Mrs. Mary Brownfield. He enlisted April 6. 1915, was assigned to Hancock, and was attached to Company M, 110th Infantry, 28th Division. Went overseas May 1918, was in the battles of Chateau Thierry, Ourcq and Vesle, was wounded by shrapnel and ma -chine gun. He returned Feb. 16, 1919 and was honorably discharged Sept. 30, 1919.
