ALDRIDGE, GEORGE LESTER-Enlisted in the service Sept. 22, 1917, in the 307th Trench Mortar Battery, Camp Lee, Va. Transferred to Camp Gordon and sent overseas May, 1918. Took part in many of the important battles and slightly wounded in the battle at Argonne. Returned March, 1919, and was honorably discharged, with the rank of Corporal in April, 1919.
