MEARS, GEORGE-Son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mears. Entered service April 25, 1917. Was assigned to Columbus Barracks and attached to Battery C, 12th Field Artillery. Went overseas Jan. 10, 1918, and died from wounds received in action of July 22, 1918.
