BEERS, GEORGE R.-Son of William F. Beers. Entered service April 22, 1917, and was assigned to 320th Machine Gun Company. 82nd Division, Camp Lee, Virginia, Sailed May 1, 1918, and served as a runner for 320th Machine Gun Company. Slightly gassed. Returned to United States in May, 1919, and honorably discharged May 13, 1919.
